About the Role: We are seeking an individual with formal tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management and two to four years of experience to join our People and Culture team as a HR Project Coordinator.
This pivotal role supports the People and Culture leadership team.
You will be responsible for coordinating various activities, including projects, meetings, and events, and reporting key HR metrics.
This role offers a variety of experiences and development across a range of people programs.. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of people and culture projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Coordinate day-to-day project activities, manage schedules, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Organize and facilitate project meetings, preparing agendas and notes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively allocate resources and meet project needs.
Track project budgets and expenditures, if applicable, and report on financial status.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting notes, and other relevant materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and present regular project status reports and performance metrics to the People and Culture Leadership Team (PCLT), highlighting key achievements, risks, and areas for improvement.
Events and Recognition Programs: Manage the Service Awards program, including the review of awards and timely preparation and distribution of certificates, pins, and gifts.
Support the management of the employee awards program, including the coordination of nominations, announcement of winners, and management of the annual event.
Assist in delivering events, annual HR processes, and various projects.
Coordinate with the Training team on program logistics, including scheduling, booking, and catering.
Implementation and Execution: Assist in implementing people and culture initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and organizational development activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance project execution efficiency.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Formal tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management with two to four years of experience in a project coordination or HR function.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate tasks.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
