Our role The HR/People & Culture Manager provides leadership and expertise across the complete scope of human resources, including recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, workplace safety, industrial relations, learning & development, employee wellbeing, injury management and compliance.
This role ensures the development and implementation of organisational change projects, building workforce capability, and successfully aligning HR initiatives with organisational needs and outcomes. 
This position is based at our West Perth head office. 
Key responsibilities include:
Develop, implement, and manage HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Handle employee relations issues, mediating conflicts, and addressing employee grievances. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee information. Conduct regular audits to ensure HR processes are efficient and effective. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management. Collaborate with the senior leadership team to contribute to the company's overall strategic planning and decision-making process. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organisation. Lead, manage and deliver operational people management activities including job classification, reclassification, recruitment, induction, performance management and development, coaching and mentoring  Oversight and provide advice on Work Health and Safety related matters Oversee organisational learning and development, including mandatory/compliance training  Develop and lead performance review and development frameworks for the organisation  Oversee the implementation of change management and communication strategies in relation to all people matters  About you Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid understanding of HR best practices and current trends. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to contribute effectively as a member of the senior leadership team. Demonstrated experience with cultural change management, developing and implementing process improvements and establishing organisational strategic plans that align with goals and objectives.
