The Role: As an HR/Payroll Officer , you will work closely with our external payroll provider to manage payroll functions, resolve payroll queries, and ensure accuracy and compliance in all processes.
This role is a critical part of our HR team, providing vital support in onboarding, employee relations, and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities: Manage payroll-related enquiries and ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll Collaborate with external payroll provider and internal stakeholders for smooth payroll operations Ensure compliance with HR policies, awards, and statutory regulations Support HR processes like onboarding, leave management, and workers' compensation Provide HR/payroll reports and maintain accurate data in HR systems What We Offer: A supportive and dynamic work environment with opportunities to make a difference A chance to work with a team passionate about creating positive impacts Opportunities for professional development and growth About You: Minimum 3 years' experience as a Payroll Officer in a similar role Strong data accuracy and attention to detail Proficient in CHRIS21 or a similar HRIS/Payroll platform Strong problem-solving skills, ethical behavior, and ability to maintain confidentiality Knowledge of awards and experience in award interpretation Compliance: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Valid WA driver's license Why Choose Henderson?
