Temporary HR/Payroll Assistant Reference no: Bury 0009 5E8F / 1
Pay Rate: up to £14.91 per hour PAYE depending on experience
Hours: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Duration: This opening assignment is for 4 months
City: KNOWSLEY
Working Environment: Hybrid working, with office presence during the week if preferred. Training will be provided in the office.
Role Overview: Join a fast-paced HR/Payroll team to support with a peak in workload and staff absence. Responsibilities include processing transactions across HR & Payroll, creating positions on the HR/Payroll system, completing transfers, producing variation to contract documents, and verifying pay accuracy. Additional processing work and mini projects may arise during restructures.
Key Responsibilities: Follow established processes and use initiative to manage workload. Be flexible to change and adapt quickly to varying circumstances. Knowledge: Sound knowledge of HR/Payroll processes and practices. Experience: Experience with a range of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, and the internet. Experience in document production and the collation and maintenance of information. Skills & Abilities: Excellent organisational skills to manage work and meet conflicting deadlines. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office packages. Ability to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
