The Opportunity We are looking for a dedicated and motivated HR Officer / RTW Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our vision of success. The successful candidate will report to the HR Manager and is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, payroll administration, training and Return to Work Coordinator processes.
Role Responsibilities Assist in the coordination of employee management including recruitment, inductions, training, performance management and maintaining of human resources documentation. Accurately collate and process payroll for all employees on a timely basis ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements. Administration of employee training to company and positional requirements. Perform role of Return-To-Work (RTW) Coordinator and administration of programs, ensuring employees returning from injury are supported in their transition back to work. Act as primary point of contact for employees in the RTW process, liaising with supervisors, healthcare providers and external agencies. Operate as an effective member of the Gambier Earth Movers Pty Ltd workforce delivering outcomes in a safe and efficient manner. Skills and Qualifications Qualifications and/or proven experience as an HR Officer, Payroll Administration or similar role. Strong knowledge of employment laws and workplace relations and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with employees at all levels. Experience with payroll software and timekeeping systems with high attention to detail. Experience in RTW processes and management of injured employees. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
