Responsibilities:
Assisting with strategic HR projects rather than your typical HR Business Partner role.Reporting to the Group Manager People & Capability, supporting leaders across all areas of HR, including ER, performance management, organisational culture, remuneration and benefits.Support Australia West growth initiatives, working collaboratively with the broader People & Capability team to achieve business goals.Regularly consulting with business stakeholders to identify short- and long-term HR support needs and targeted initiatives, leading execution work.Advise managers and employees on issues related to domestic and international secondments and relocations, flexible work arrangements, higher duty assignments etc.Assist the project team, develop and execute HR projects for business-wide initiatives.
Experience Required:An experienced HR Officer with a breadth of generalist & Recruitment experience including both strategic and operational HR, ideally gained in engineering or construction industries.Success working collaboratively with senior leadership to support strategic business goals.Communicating and connecting easily with people, building and maintaining long-term relationships across all levels of an organisation.An inquisitive approach, seeking to understand key stakeholders within and across geographically dispersed teams, influencing where needed.Exposure to acquisition integration, business growth activities and/or change management projects would be a plus.Ideally a Bachelor level degree or above within HR or 5 years relevant experience.
