About the Opportunity: Securecorp are seeking a self-motivated, energetic and resourceful HR Officer to join our HR Team on a Full-Time basis for a 6-month fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend.
The HR Officer will be responsible for talent acquisition, generalist Human Resources and IR/ER support.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of HR support, talent acquisition, providing advice and coaching to our management teams and site managers on all generalist HR and talent acquisition functions.
As a key member of our HR team, you will be required to ensure that HR frameworks, initiatives and strategies align with business requirements and contribute to the development of our HR policies and procedures for the defined area of responsibility.
Key responsibilities will include: Managing end-to-end recruitment processes: applicant screening, interviews, onboarding, offboarding, and reference checks Developing and reviewing position descriptions, selection criteria, job ads, and role-specific interview guides Developing and reviewing recruitment processes and coordinating strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders such as Business Managers, job active providers and training institutions to gather a pool of skilled talent Overseeing employee induction and mandatory training whilst maintaining accurate employee training records Maintaining accurate candidate profiles and employee records in line with compliance requirements Engaging a consultative approach to HR processes, working with the HR Manager to develop tailored solutions Contribute to the review and development of HR Policies and Procedures Support the HR Manager with Workers' compensation, injury management, occupational health & safety, complex case management, and general business administrative duties Support the HR Manager with various HR responsibilities including but not limited to; ER/IR matters, talent management, performance evaluation and management, and compliance with employment legislation To be successful in the position you will have: Established experience in a Human Resources and/or HR Officer role, working across a portfolio within a broader HR team Diploma in HR or appropriate academic qualifications in business-related discipline and/or demonstrated relevant experience is essential for this role.
5 or more years' experience in a similar role A positive and proactive work ethic Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively in a complex and fast paced environment Well-developed customer service skills and a proactive approach to tasks and problem solving High level communication skills, both written and verbal Established time management skills with the ability to multitask Strong administration skills and attention to detail Team focused attitude whilst also maintaining the ability to work autonomously is essential in this environment Experience in a high-volume recruitment environment would be desirable Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite of program About us: Securecorp is a successful, progressive, and award-winning Company who provide premium security, cleaning, electronics and monitoring services nationally across various industries including retail, major events, prestige corporate sites, aviation and much more.
