Be a part of the HR Branch with this new exciting permanent full-time Opportunity based in Bowen Hills. As the HR Officer, you will provide extensive administrative and HR support and advice in consultation with the relevant manager and team.
Reporting to the Manager, HR Operations your role will be responsible for providing holistic, accurate and timely advice and administrative support in relation to all aspects of HR including the delivery of projects and improvement initiatives.
The successful personYou will have demonstrated:
Contemporary knowledge of human resource practices, including relevant legislation, industrial instruments, standards, policies, procedures and information systems.Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated proficiency in delivering high level administrative and project support including the ability to quickly prioritise and flexibility to adapt to changing demands.Ability to effectively problem solve and identify key issues, including developing and reviewing processes in response to new and emerging business requirements.Ability to operate autonomously and with general supervision and work collaboratively as a member of a team in the achievement of agreed goals.Well-developed skills in the use of a wide range of computer programs, applications, email, electronic diaries and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
