Job Description Ducats Earthmoving are based in Armidale, NSW.
We specialise in civil earthworks, ready-mix concrete and a range of construction and garden materials.
Ducats have been in operation for over 40 years and are currently looking to expand and grow its family owned business.
We are currently looking for HR Officer to join our team!
Main Purpose The Human Resources (HR) Officer is responsible for delivering effective and compliant generalist human resources advisory and administration services to both internal and external stakeholders in accordance with relevant legislation and awards.
Key Duties/Responsibilities Be the first point of contact for HR related queries Participate and contribute to HR projects
Coordinate the end to end recruitment process Place job advertisements and shortlist candidates Conduct phone screening and interviews
Liaise with the hiring managers to place successful applicants Draft and issue employment contracts and employment related letters Coordinate the onboarding of new employees
Maintain employee files Update and maintain the accuracy of HR registers Provide support with HR monthly reports
Assist with organising Company events Manage employment anniversaries and gifts Provide general administrative support to the HR and Operations Teams as required
Support learning and development, performance management, remuneration and benefits activities and general HR duties Facilitate and actively enhance employee life cycle processes Stay up to date with changes to legislative compliance
Skills and Experience Experience in a similar role within a HR function Knowledge of Fair
Work Act, Modern Awards, National Employment Standards and basic knowledge of industrial relations legislation Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills Ability to work cooperatively and independently, whilst establishing positive relationships across the business
