Ducats Earthmoving are based in Armidale, NSW.
We specialise in civil earthworks, ready-mix concrete and a range of construction and garden materials.
Ducats have been in operation for over 40 years and are currently looking to expand and grow its family owned business.
We are currently looking for HR Officer to join our team!
Main Purpose The Human Resources (HR) Officer is responsible for delivering effective and compliant generalist human resources advisory and administration services to both internal and external stakeholders in accordance with relevant legislation and awards.
Key Duties/Responsibilities Be the first point of contact for HR related queriesParticipate and contribute to HR projectsCoordinate the end to end recruitment processPlace job advertisements and shortlist candidatesConduct phone screening and interviewsLiaise with the hiring managers to place successful applicantsDraft and issue employment contracts and employment related lettersCoordinate the onboarding of new employeesMaintain employee filesUpdate and maintain the accuracy of HR registersProvide support with HR monthly reportsAssist with organising Company eventsManage employment anniversaries and giftsProvide general administrative support to the HR and Operations Teams as requiredSupport learning and development, performance management, remuneration and benefits activities and general HR dutiesFacilitate and actively enhance employee life cycle processesStay up to date with changes to legislative complianceSkills and Experience Experience in a similar role within a HR functionKnowledge of Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, National Employment Standards and basic knowledge of industrial relations legislationStrong interpersonal, verbal and written skillsAbility to work cooperatively and independently, whilst establishing positive relationships across the businessExcellent organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detailWe offer above award rates and permanent employment opportunities for the right candidates.
