The OpportunityThis is a pivotal role, accountable for shaping and delivering the HR strategy across a Group of Companies.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will ensure the HR function aligns with business objectives, mitigates risks, and empowers teams to excel.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a forward-thinking HR strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.HR Business Support: Oversee tailored HR services for each business unit, enabling optimal performance.Employee Relations: Lead all aspects of employee relations, including interpreting legislation, industrial awards, and enterprise agreements.Talent Acquisition and Mobilization: Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes across the Group of Companies.Risk and Compliance: Administer workers' compensation and injury management, ensuring compliance with regulations.Talent Management: Conduct capability reviews, map talent, and establish robust succession plans for key roles.Remuneration and Benefits: Oversee remuneration strategies, including project rate schedules and annual reviews.Business Growth Support: Provide HR expertise for tendering, mergers, acquisitions, and growth initiatives.Reporting and Monitoring: Deliver insightful weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports to track progress.Leadership and Mentoring: Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to ensure consistent, professional service delivery.What You Bring Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a diverse organization or group of companies.Strong expertise in HR strategy, employee relations, talent management, and compliance.Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and drive organizational change.Exceptional knowledge of HR legislation, industrial awards, and enterprise agreements.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term goals with day-to-day operations.Why Join?
