Our opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an autonomous, self-motivated HR professional to be part of a global organisation while making connections to the local community. Based at our Lidcombe factory, the HR role will add value to the Lactalis business through the provision of proactive and customer-focused HR services.
Reporting to the Site Manager and functionally supported by the Head of HR, you will partner with and be a key member of the Site leadership team and national HR team with centres of expertise. You will be responsible for building relationships at all levels and providing HR assistance and guidance, including getting on to the factory floor to drive engagement.

Responsibilities for this role include: Driving leadership development among senior and front-line leaders. Driving initiatives to improve employee retention and development. Providing effective HR/IR services to all operational employees. Coaching line managers in relation to performance management issues & development plans. Managing and coordinating all recruitment (end to end) with central support from CoE. Interpreting site-based Enterprise Agreement and ensuring compliance within operations. Managing relationships with unions and external parties. Providing HR generalist support. To ensure your success in this role, you will have solid HR experience demonstrating leadership, conflict resolution, influential presentation, and negotiation skills. You will not be afraid to go on to the factory floor to diagnose or solve an issue.
