The Agency

The Role
Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Advisor role is a true, stand-alone, generalist HR role, where you'll be involved in the full employee lifecycle from end-to-end. You'll be the first point of contact for team members and managers and will provide assistance in various HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, talent development, safety, wellbeing, and employee relations. There are up-to-date policies and processes already in place, so we're not looking to reinvent the world, but rather maintain the fabulous culture and ensure ongoing staff engagement. Your typical responsibilities will include:
Partner with the leadership team to understand business objectives and align HR strategies.
Manage the administration of various staff engagement initiatives, such as performance reviews, salary reviews, and staff engagement surveys.
Provide coaching and advice to managers relating to performance management, succession planning, professional development, talent management, and team engagement.
Manage day-to-day HR queries.
Update and maintain HR policies to ensure ongoing compliance, and provide training where required.
Manage the recruitment process, including visas/sponsorships.
On-boarding and off-boarding of staff.
Preparing and issuing employment contracts.
Update and management of HR system (Culture Amp), including regular reporting.
Skills and Experience
This is a key role for the business and we're looking for an experienced and qualified HR Advisor/Manager who loves working in a vibrant, busy, people-oriented environment. Previous experience in industries such as media/advertising would be advantageous, but of most importance is your ability to communicate effectively with everyone, your approachable and helpful nature, your attention to detail and follow-up, and your down-to-earth, grounded approach.
