Hr Generalist

The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of human resources-related duties and works closely with the HR Manager and departmental managers. The role encompasses employee relations, compliance, learning and development, performance management, and employee benefits. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of HR best practices and legal compliance.
Join a fast growing organisation within the Corporate fitness world!Very supportive team with growth opportunitiesStarting ASAP as a temporary worker, with potential to go permanent within 3 months!Key responsibilities: Employee Relations; act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.Learning & Development; assist in developing and delivering internal training programs.Performance management; support managers in conducting performance reviews and feedback sessions.Engagement and Retention.Compliance, Policy and Administration; stay updated on employment legislation and ensure compliance, assist with WHS requirements.HR Consulting/Other; provide Managers with timely and effective HR support and advice or escalate to HR Manager, assist with workforce planning initiatives and more.Requirements: Solid understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills to handle sensitive situations.Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.Process-oriented mindset to create and streamline workflows.Flexibility to handle changing priorities and unexpected challenges.Experience in planning and executing HR projects, such as policy rollouts or training programs.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role.Self-motivated and can work independently.Education: Tertiary qualifications in HR.Hybrid working offered!
