About the role
Based in Sydney or Melbourne, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a casual basis to work closely with the National HR Manager in delivering a wide range of services across the business.
This a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, compliance, WHS, performance management, employee engagement, separation processes and more.
Key responsibilities:
Provide support to the National HR Manager on various HR matters, including end-to-end recruitment for various roles across the organisation (3 Divisions).
Liaise with recruiters for open roles and report back to the National HR Manager on progress.
Assisting in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects and launch the new employee onboarding and offboarding process.
Conduct reference checks for new employees and assist with onboarding of new employees.
Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Coordinating training and development programs.
Provide updates on legislative changes and employment law.
Enhance and nurture company culture and values.
All other tasks as reasonably directed by the manager.
About you:
This is a great opportunity for someone who demonstrates:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role or a tertiary qualification in Human resources or related studies.
Ability to work collaboratively with executive management and various stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Strong skills in MS Office - Word, Excel & Outlook.
Developed leadership & people skills with an ability to influence.
Successful problem-solving experience and critical thinking abilities, leading to sustainable employee/employer relations.
