We work in Scotland with older people's groups who provide vital activities and services for older people in theirlocal community. We campaign on the issues that older people tell us are important to them.

As the HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring that we recruit and retain high quality staff, developour people, and support effective people management. You will contribute to the continued development of apositive organisational culture and support the team and wider Charity to bring our values to life in the way wemanage people.

The role will be a hybrid blend of office-based (in Edinburgh) and home-based work. The working pattern must includeFridays to ensure there is adequate cover within the team.

By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as a Community Support Co-ordinator you can be the differencebetween people just surviving and really living.
You will be part of Scotland's leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions tolive life to the full again. Our Community Healthcare Support Services form a nationwide network of localsupport groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart orlung condition or after a stroke.
We are looking for a Community Support Coordinator to join our amazing team in the North area. This role is focusedon making sure that people affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions get the help they need and get back todoing the things that matter to them.
Through our Community Support Services, you will support people to have the confidence and tools to self-manage theirhealth condition and live as independently as possible. You'll also help people get back to doing the thingsthat are important to them – from simple things like walking to their local shop following a stroke, toreturning to a sky-high hobby of gliding!
You'll be directly involved in supporting people with chest, heart and stroke conditions through both one-to-one andgroup services in both community and hospital settings. You'll work with the rest of the Community SupportServices team in Grampian, and manage a team of incredible volunteers, to make a real difference to the lives ofpeople with our conditions.
Candidates don't need to have medical knowledge as training is provided on our health conditions. We are looking forsomeone with a positive attitude towards people with disabilities and long-term conditions; an understanding ofthe challenges faced by people with chest, heart and stroke conditions including Long Covid; an understanding ofcommunity service provision; the ability to recruit, manage and motivate a team of volunteers; and excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.

About the Supporter Care Executive role and why we need you We are looking for a Supporter Care Executive to join a team delivering a sector-leading service to our supporters,who are known as Curestarters. We're looking for a Customer Care Executive to join our team, this role will be known internally as Supporter CareExecutive.

VOCAL - Voice of Carers Across Lothian - seeks two enthusiastic and experienced Carer Brokerage Practitioners to joinits busy and expanding team to provide brokerage support to carers across Edinburgh and Midlothian.
VOCAL is a carer-led organisation and provides a wide range of services to support unpaid carers in their caringrole. Postholders will be expected to work as part of a team, improve outcomes for carers and maximise uptake ofVOCAL and community services.
Postholders will be part of a SDS focused project, VOCAL about Independent Living funded by Support in the RightDirection, Inspiring Scotland. They will liaise with staff, relevant organisations and the funder whilst runningthe project, including Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living (LCiL) who will also have a funded post as part ofthis project . SDS carer support is already well established at VOCAL, and postholders will be able to benefitfrom the expertise of the practitioners who have been involved with SDS support to date.
Applicants will evidence excellent people, and communication skills, brokerage and person-centred support work.Applicants will also demonstrate awareness of the diverse range of caring situations, the impact of caring onpeoples' lives and barriers carers face at different points of the caring journey. Good working knowledge ofhealth and social care will be expected, with preference given to candidates with applied knowledge ofself-directed support. Applicants will be digitally competent and effective communicators with individuals,carer groups and partner agencies.
Our aim is to find routes out of homelessness and into independent living for the people we support every day.Alongside our services, we have two social enterprises, that provide vital income for our charity as well asvolunteering and training opportunities for people using our services and the wider community.
About The Job Our people are at the heart of the organisation and this role supports our team through all aspects of their timewith Four Square. The postholder will oversee recruitment, deliver organisation inductions, support managers,monitor and arrange skills training and help deliver our payroll function. The role will have leadresponsibility in delivering our organisational development programme Impactful People.
This is varied role working across our services and social enterprise which comprises of over 100 staff, volunteers,and students on placement. The postholder will gain exposure to a wide range of HR aspects and will play a keyrole in supporting the team.
