Full time, fixed term opportunity until 31st December 2025.Support the delivery of positive organisational capability outcomesBase Salary $108,557 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunity The HR Consultant (Projects) provides operational advice to University leaders, managers and staff on employment related legislation and is expected to provide professional, sound advice that supports the University's broader strategies, policies and practices. The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgement and apply professional know-how in preparing and presenting investigation, analysis and formal advice.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
provide HR advice tailored to meet the specific needs of the matterundertake timely and effective investigation and case management of individual underpayment claimsdeliver concise and comprehensive analysis and reporting of claims and work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomesdevelop and communicate plans and strategies where requiredprovide support and assistance to leaders and managers in a timely mannerliaise with cross-functional teams, senior and key stakeholders to ensure compliance and meeting of various objectivesidentify continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to implementing process efficiencies.About you experience working as a HR Generalist/Industrial Advisor (or similar) within a large, complex organisation (tertiary sector is highly desirable)timely and effective project/case management skills and experience, including the ability to develop and communicate plans and strategies and report upon progressproven interpersonal, organisation and time management skillsproven skills in relationships management when liaising with key internal and external stakeholdersexperience in providing advice, coaching and support to senior staffproficiency in accurately interpreting and applying knowledge of employment laws and regulations and industrial instrumentsinfluencing and negotiation skills and the ability to operate with tact, diplomacy and professionalism within diverse internal environment.Sponsorship / work rights for Australia Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
