We are seeking an HR Consultant to join our team and provide proactive, tactical HR support across all facets of HR Operations, Employment Relations, Business Partnering, Work Health and Safety, and, where appropriate, Recruitment and Onboarding. In this role, you will partner with our Corporate Markets HR team and business leaders to drive people initiatives that align with our organizational strategy and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Focus:Collaborate with business leaders to assess current and future HR needs, developing innovative solutions that align with our organizational strategy.Coach and guide leaders in identifying capability gaps and proposing effective solutions to build high-performing teams.Draft and contribute to position descriptions and remuneration benchmarking.Utilize reporting and analytics to identify trends and proactively address HR challenges, such as turnover and absenteeism.Stay updated on employment law changes in the APAC region, developing strategies for implementation.Operational Management:Provide general HR support and input into various HR initiatives and projects.Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including coordinating interviews and screening candidates.Validate data for third-party payroll providers and support HR cyclical activities, such as remuneration reviews.Offer global mobility support for international assignments and work visa holders.Contribute to large-scale change projects, ensuring effective communication and support for affected employees.Enhance HR operational procedures for improved efficiency throughout the employee lifecycle.People Leadership:Coach and develop the HR Coordinator, fostering their professional growth.Collaborate with other HR teams to align strategies and share best practices across the organization.Governance & Risk:Ensure that HR advisory services are commercially sound and legally compliant.Support risk management and compliance initiatives within the organization.This role will report to the HR Manager, MUFG Corporate Markets and is based between our two modern, sunlit offices in Parramatta and Sydney CBD. We offer a hybrid working culture with 50% remote and 50% in office.Qualifications:Proven experience as an HR Generalist across various HR disciplines, including business partnering and employee relations.Experience managing complex HR issues such as redundancies and change management, ideally within a commercial setting.In-depth knowledge of employment law practices in ANZ.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to engage stakeholders and build credibility at all levels.Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments, with excellent problem-solving abilities.Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field is desirable.Personal Attributes:A proactive and hands-on approach to getting things done.Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for practical solutions.Committed to upholding the organization's values and behaviors.Resilient, diplomatic, and approachable, with a focus on building positive relationships.Why Join Us?
