Our HR team of 63 talented professionals includes payroll, HR Business Partners and 3 other specialist HR teams (centralised recruitment, HSW & L&D) who work collaboratively with the HRBP's to support success. Aged Care is a growth industry, it's not for the faint hearted, it's fast paced and challenging but equally rewarding.
If you're a hands on operator with demonstrated experience in managing high volume ER/IR cases, performance matters and investigations, succession planning, aiding retention, coaching leaders in a blue collar environment, and you're looking for an opportunity to enter the Healthcare/Aged Care industry or a change to a values based NFP experiencing growth, this could be it. Reporting to the HR Partnering Manager, you will partner with a large stakeholder group who truly value your support. Recognised as an SME you will provide expert advice, solutions, coaching and support on the full range of people matters across a widely dispersed workforce including Northern Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle and Northern NSW.
Your ability to engage, influence and coach, together with your proactive approach, flexibility to adapt to workforce changes and business needs, will aid your success in this integral high-volume role.
Responsibilities within this role will include: Providing specialist advice and coaching on effective people management, including in areas of employee relations, performance management, workplace culture, policy interpretation and applicationConducting investigations and providing recommendations for resolutionCoaching leaders in strategies and processes for effective people management and employee engagementParticipating as a HR Specialist Project Team Member on allocated Operational or HR wide ProjectsProactively analyse and report on people metrics, identifying trends and areas for actionCollaborate with leaders to navigate the people planning and delivery aspects of more complex organisational change projectsOccasional planned travel to regional locationsThe successful candidate will be a highly motivated and organised individual who is solution focussed, has exceptional interpersonal skills to support effective Business Partnering and a sense of humour. In addition, you will have:
