The HR Business Partner role reports directly to the General Manager People Operations at The Star Sydney and offers an opportunity to closely collaborate with leadership and operational teams to foster alignment with the wider People Operations strategy.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will lead your own portfolio and play a pivotal role in the development of property leadership and their capability to meet our obligations to regulatory and governance requirements.
A few of your responsibilities: Embrace collaboration with property leaders to deliver a consistent, efficient, and proactive strategic people agenda together aligned with business strategy and goals.Partner closely with each leader to ensure that the People Operations agenda is a priority and that the solutions meet the unique needs of their department.Prioritise and partner in building financially sound recommendations, across all aspects of People Operations that address both the immediate and the long-term needs.Understand the root cause of leadership needs and gather insights on behalf of the People Operations team to inform the design and roll out of department initiatives.Coach, develop and empower leaders to perform as leaders, in addition to educating leaders particularly on the People Operating model.What we are looking for: Proven work experience in a People Advisory/Partnering role, noting experience in a hospitality and/or highly regulated environment will be highly regarded.Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or Organisational Development.Strong relationship, coaching, influencing and communication skills to build capability and performance of leadership teams.Demonstrated business partnership experience, driven by a self-starter mindset and an unwavering can-do attitude.About you: Your role will be pivotal in improving our employee experience through driving and managing change and building leadership capability.
