As the HR Business Partner, you play a critical role at our Millmerran Power Station in aligning our People & Culture Strategy with the business's goals; working closely to provide guidance and support to our Management team and employees alike. You'll be a trusted advisor, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. This will also include supporting key areas such as attraction and retention, talent development, employee relations and leading core people processes.
This is both a strategic and operational role, where you will operate autonomously, reporting to the Director, Human Resources. Whilst the role is predominantly based at our Millmerran facility, this role will allow for hybrid working if you live in surrounding areas to Millmerran.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible but not limited to the following: Partner with the Management team to implement HR Strategies aligned with business goals Drive critical and impactful retention and attraction programs to support building future capability Act as an advisor to the management team on workforce related opportunities, and compensation & benefits Drive and support change management to continue driving a positive workplace culture Lead core people processes for Millmerran including Performance Management, Talent Succession & Development and Engagement to foster a high-performing culture Use workforce analytics to provide insight and make data-driven decisions that support workforce planning and development Collaborate with the HR team to deliver effective, integrated solutions that drive capability within the organisation To be successful in this role, you will be required to have: 5+ years' experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering across generalist functions of HR Having experience in a similar operating environment on site (including mining, oil & gas and energy generation) where safety is paramount Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent Strong understanding of HR practices, labour laws and regulatory requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation Proven ability to work autonomously with multiple projects and navigate complexity A proactive and strategic thinker with a passion for People and Culture!
