As our new HR Business Partner , you'll be a key player in researching best practice to revising, developing and implementing people policies and processes that align with our business goals, ensuring smooth operations throughout the employee lifecycle.
You'll have the chance to make a real impact by collaborating with department heads, refining HR systems, and fostering a positive work environment.
In your first few months, you'll dive into exciting projects, taking a close look at our policies, procedures, and processes to ensure we stay up to date with the latest legislation and best practice, as well as learning to support people strategies underway.
As you learn more about life at MSWA, you'll build great relationships with leaders across the business and partner with them to drive results.
Here's a snapshot of what you'll be up to: Strategic Business Partnering: Provide HR guidance to managers, aligning solutions with MSWA's strategic goals.
Policy Research, Development & Compliance: Develop, update, and ensure our policies meet legal and business priorities.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies to streamline HR processes for better operational effectiveness.
Employee Lifecycle Support: Manage onboarding, performance, career development, and offboarding to enhance the employee experience.
Employee Relations & HR Systems: Advise on employee relations and ensure compliance while maintaining accurate HR records and systems.

So, if you're ready to roll up your sleeves, here are some exciting projects you'll get to take part in: Preparation for a new HCM System implementation Award interpretation and policy review and development Development of a brand-new benefits policy Employee Engagement survey Here's what you'll need: A tertiary qualification in HR or a related field, coupled with at least 3 years of experience working as an HR Graduate or in a generalist capacity.
Exposure to various HR disciplines is a must!
You're a natural people person, curious and always eager to learn.
You stay up to date with the latest HR trends and enjoy collaborating with your stakeholders.
Most importantly, demonstration of our values at MSWA of respect, listen, difference and accountability are key to succeeding in this role.
Travel to our MSWA locations is also a requirement of the role.
