Role OverviewAs an active member of the HR team, you will be taking ownership and responsibility of engaging with key stakeholders of one of our program delivery teams, providing well-rounded, pragmatic, HR solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor and the 'go-to' person for HR queries for the program of work, as well as providing support to the wider HR team.
This role will be located in our Head Office in Homebush, NSW.
The role we are offering youWork closely with the Head of HR and key members of the program team on people-related matters.Be actively involved in the hire-to-retire lifecycle of employees on the program, including Talent Acquisition, onboarding, training, performance management, remuneration and benefits, global mobility, and separation.Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulations.Improve the employee experience in processes, policies, and people-focused initiatives.First point of call for employee-related queries for given departments.Our ideal candidate has:Demonstrated experience in all aspects of HR.Project management experience is ideal.Demonstrated experience and understanding in the interpretation of employment legislation in Australia.Strong Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, skills.Desirable to have experience working for a global company and any previous payroll experience.What CAE offers you:Opportunity to make a positive impact on Australian defence and security.Exciting career paths in a truly global business.Access to a generous ADF Reserve Service Policy.Security requirementsAs the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
