Job DescriptionReporting directly to the National Director | People & Performance, this role will play a crucial part in shaping and executing the overall HR strategy & objectives across the QLD business, whilst providing advice and expert guidance to specific business lines nationally. This role is supported by a group of high performing HR professionals including an established team of recruiters.
The role will be responsible for the delivery of HR operational services & advisory including: Developing relationships and influencing at a senior level and using this relationship to understand business needs and demands to tailor HR approach.Proactively work with Leaders in QLD to provide guidance and execute on employee engagement, retention & culture.Providing trusted advice and executing on employee relations matters.Delivering advice on management, coaching and advisory.Dealing with State based workplace health & safety matters.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following: Relevant tertiary qualifications.Demonstrated 4 + years of hands on, generalist experience as a HR Advisor/Consultant, ideally within a similar professional services organisation.Sound knowledge of workplace legislation and ER/HR best practice methods.Proven partnering with senior stakeholders and executive people strategies.Strong client-focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work autonomously and as a collaborative member of a national team.Highly organised to allow you to deliver daily outcomes in a fast-paced business environment.Additional InformationWhat We Offer You: Up to 26 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers and up to 8 weeks for secondary carers.The opportunity to accelerate your HR career as our business continues to rapidly grow.Loyalty leave, additional annual leave up to 5 days for each completed year of service.The chance to shape the future of our organisation by joining the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Committee or one of our Employee Resource Groups.The opportunity to be based in a prime location complete with fantastic end of trip facilities, complimentary yoga and Pilates classes and the opportunity to work from home one day a week.Product Discounts and much more!Please apply with your CV or call Kate Dobbie- Associate Director, Careers on 07 3026 3309 for more information.
