We currently have a fantastic opportunity available at O'Connors in an HR Business Partner Position. In this position you will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level to partner with Managers across the O'Connor group. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organisation. The position must be sensitive to corporate goals, employee goodwill and business needs, while also administering HR services in the areas of: employee relations, performance management, affirmative action and employment law compliance. You will have the ability to coach and counsel managers, supervisors, and employees on employee relations issues, providing advice and support to successfully navigate employee issues with successful outcomes. We are looking for: A self-motivated individual who is committed to positive outcomes, with previous experience and demonstrated ability in the following areas: Guiding managers in employee disciplinary action adhering to legal requirements, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.Demonstrated experience in key aspects of the HR Functions involvement and leadership of the Employee Life Cycle; namely areas of performance management, talent selection, employee onboarding, manager support and coaching.Qualifications/Competencies Required:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field with 2+ years of related HR experience, or 5+ years of progressively responsible HR experience.Ability to handle and resolve interpersonal conflictAbility to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environmentAbility to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employeesAbility to travel as required and work flexible hoursDemonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility, and ability to quickly adjust to changing compliance and policy guidelinesKeen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, to inform, persuade, influence, and/or recognise employees and managers at various levels of the organisationAbility to handle highly confidential and sensitive informationAbility to prioritise work and meet deadlines efficiently and cost effectivelyDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office productsDemonstrated strong decision making and problem-solving skillsWe are offering:A company that continues to grow and expand in the Agricultural industry.A supportive team environment with ongoing guidance and feedback to ensure you succeed.Employee benefits and discountsLong term careerThis opportunity will be centrally located in our Bendigo office.
