Our client is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to align business objectives with employees and management for their SA business. This role serves as a consultant on HR related issues, acting as an employee champion and change advocate. The successful candidate will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the commercial interests of the business, its mid-range plans, its culture, and its competition. The position requires influencing senior internal stakeholders and providing high-level expertise and daily guidance on a range of operational activities and programs.
Key responsibilities: As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be working closely with the Group HR Manager (ANZ) to support and drive allocated initiatives. You will use your skills and expertise to guide and coach our people and project leaders and teams to support excellence. This includes coordinating key projects and cyclical activities as well as undertaking other HR operational activity. You will be required to travel to locations within the allocated region and will become experts in their areas using their technical HR skills and strong interpersonal skills to build capability.
Proactively act and position yourself as the HR Business PartnerInfluence and guide leaders in the critical planning and management of organisational change and workforce developmentContribute to the development of the HR plansDrive and support process improvementsSupport the successful implementation of HR policies and ensure managers understand the whole people proposition by providing ongoing support to managers on best practiceEnsure HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitor effectiveness through a performance plan Key requirements: The ideal candidate for this Senior HR Business Partner role will bring significant experience in competency and value-based recruitment process management. They will have superior relationship building, stakeholder engagement, self-management skills, resilience with strong conflict management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding attention to detail. They will also have sound ability to manage competing demands and priorities.
Experience in the resolution of complex employee engagement issuesWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including remuneration practices, employment law compliance, performance management, and employee engagement.HRIS systems experience and knowledge (DayForce would be advantageous)Outcome driven with excellent HR consulting skillsA commitment to excellence with client management and business literacy skillsStrong skills in employee and industrial relationsThis is an organisation that values its employees and recognizes the importance of investing in their growth and well-being.
