About the Opportunity
The HR Assistant (Recruitment and Reporting) is the primary contact for the agency in assisting with administrative activities relating to recruitment. This includes setting up job vacancies on I Work For SA and AGD's internal e-recruitment system, and assisting business units with required information. The HR Assistant (Recruitment and Reporting) is also responsible for assisting the HR Business Manager contribute to the efficient operation of the agency by providing the preparation and presentation of workforce reporting. The role also provides support to AGD staff around payroll and related system activities to ensure a smooth experience for our employees.
Skills that will be advantageous to this role are:
High level of competence in Payroll and HR systems.
Sound knowledge of Policies and procedures relating to HR and Payroll.
High level written language skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Comfortable with regular deadlines and prioritising work accordingly.
Experience in working with data.
About the Business
Human Resources consists of a small team of approximately 18 staff, and supports the Attorney-General's Department through employee relations, recruitment, organisational change, workforce wellbeing, training, organisational development, psychological services, and workforce data and reporting.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
