We deliver timely and accurate responses to various client groups and support our people across the country with a strong focus on customer service and building trusting relationships with employees and business areas.
The HR advisor role will work within a small team to provide advice and support to the Department of Finance employees in relation to their conditions, leave and entitlements.
We offer general and specialist HR advice for policies, payroll, conditions of employment and guidance material, along with key business improvement activities, relating to the delivery of HR services.
We are seeking candidates who are motivated self-starters with demonstrated initiative, organisational skills and attention to detail to fill an expected vacancy.
Candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a small team, the successful candidate may also have the opportunity to build and embed their skills across other areas of interest within the HR function.

Roles may be offered as either ongoing or non-ongoing subject to operational requirements.
Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for a specified term of up to 12 months.
Specified term vacancies may be extended up to a maximum period of 18 months.
