About the role: We are currently seeking an experienced HR and Payroll Systems professional to join our Corporate Technology team in a full time and permanent role based at our Melbourne CBD head office.
This role will act as the single point of ownership to ensure the effective operation of our People Management Systems which include SAP and SuccessFactors.
This is done by ensuring these systems remain current, reliable, and fit for purpose through ongoing system and business configuration, release management, vendor management and stakeholder management.
The role will be responsible for planning, leading, organising, and motivating the managed service provided by our delivery partner while also working with business subject-matter experts to ensure delivery of functionality so systems run at peak performance and as efficiently as possible.
You will work with the broader SAP and technology teams, Support Partners, Business Stakeholders and numerous third parties to ensure best practice and robust governance in relation to all system matters.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a dedicated team player with exceptional communication skills, experienced in business requirements analysis, business process design, system 'gap analysis', functional solution design, system configuration, customisations, and extension design and any people related system capabilities and related activities.
What you'll deliver: Maintain a deep knowledge of the People Management systems.Manage changes requested by the business after a full impact assessment has been done from a technical and functional perspective.Lead the six monthly SuccessFactors (SF) review to agree opt in and understand universal changes being applied for improved system performance as well as annual statutory SAP HR support packs.An understanding of the connectivity architecture to other systems and process within the business.Work with the Functional, Technical, Architecture, Payroll and HR teams and Software Vendor to develop solutions.Ensure the day-to-day service provision of the supplier is consistent with the deliverables described within the agreement.Leverage relationships between strategic vendors and internal resources, including IT stakeholders, to meet business KPIs and improve service.Identify areas of improvement in both technology, people and process to uplift the incident response and management capability.To succeed in this role, you'll have: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.SAP Payroll certification (Preferred) and SuccessFactors certification (Preferred).Experience in managing and leading technical teams, including performance management, coaching, and mentoring.Consulting, functional and technical advisory experience in HCM related systems.Knowledgeable about integration with other HR processes and 3rd party applications.Ability to serve as a liaison to assigned SAP & SuccessFactors account reps in communicating and escalating technical requests and tickets.Significant experience in the IT industry, with a focus on SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors and HCM related technologies including module configuration.Experience in supplier management.Experience with functional design/process flows.Experience with solution design.Experience with testing (SIT/UAT), training, knowledge transfer and deployment.Your career with us: We have a diversity of teams across our business, all contributing to great customer and community outcomes.
