Working hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM at our head office in Yeppoon QLD.Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager you will play an important part in the Company by providing administrative duties for human resources and assisting with all payroll related functions for the Company.What you'll be doingProvide comprehensive administrative support for the HR and payroll processesAssist with employee onboarding, including preparing contracts and managing documentationProcess weekly payroll (150+) employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislationMaintain employee records and update HR information systemsRespond to employee queries related to HR and payroll mattersContribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and proceduresProvide general administrative support to the broader team as requiredWhat we're looking forProven experience in a similar HR or payroll administration role, preferably in the construction or equipment hire industryStrong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitaskExcellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyIntermediate level of Microsoft office skillsProficient in the use of HR and payroll software, such as MYOB and HR3Effective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently or collaboratively as part of a teamGenuine interest in human resources and payroll administrationWhat we offerAt JRT Construction & Equipment Hire, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
