CPB Contractors is the CIMIC Group's construction company and a leading international construction contractor, with operations across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.Combining the expertise and track record formerly delivered by Leighton Contractors and Thiess, we deliver projects spanning all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads, rail, tunnelling, defence and building.The position of Project Administrator sits with CPB Contractors who are in partnership with TasWater, UGL and WSP to build and enhance TasWater's capability in a range of operational and strategic areas such as safety, project controls, estimating and program management.What is on offer?A fantastic opportunity for a HR Advisor in a 12 month fixed term position to deliver operational and tactical HR advice and services. The role works closely with the CDO Management teams.A typical day may look like this:Implementing effective people management practices, providing positive and proactive advice regarding recruitment and selection, employee relations and employee development.Support business performance improvement initiatives, including those that lead to increased employee engagement and capability and the achievement of our target culture.Pro-actively developing customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the customer (both internal and external).Managing the selection and training of all team members, building a high skilled, performance focused, innovative, passionate team.Administering a broad range of tasks including resolving complaints, coaching managers and employees on the interpretation of policies and procedures.What will you have to be successful?Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent competence.A demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.Display a positive approach to safety.High level of personal resilience and persistence.Effective level of personal resilience and persistence.Have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven.Be energetic with a positive can-do attitude.Experience in a utilities and/or service industry (desirable).Fit the bill and are interested?
