Who are we looking for?We are seeking a HR Advisor (multiple positions available) to join Human Resources, People Services, Administrative Division.In the position of HR Advisor, you are part of the HR Assist team, which delivers an exceptional human resources service and enquiry management experience to the University. Your knowledge is applied to solve problems and assist University staff with transactional enquiries relating to human resources matters including interpretation of QUT policies, procedures and the provision of information. You also assist in identifying opportunities to continuously improve team performance to align to current and future client needs and service delivery requirements. The Department partners with each area of the University to deliver tailored solutions according to the area's needs.What you need to succeedEducation, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to a degree in Human Resources or related field.Demonstrated experience in a human resources generalist role and the ability to interpret and provide advice on policies, guidelines and other documents.Demonstrated history of providing excellent customer service including the ability to resolve difficult customer service issues with a high level of attention to detail.High level of digital literacy with the demonstrated ability in using multiple systems to access and accurately input data.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the proven ability to work independently and as a productive team member with the ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.Life at QUTWe're committed to building a culture that fosters connection between people and purpose.
