An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR professional to join our HR Department, handling diverse and complex HR issues within a workforce comprising both white and blue-collar staff.
About The Role:
Role Overview
Reporting to the HR Manager, this hands-on, fast-paced generalist role will encompass recruitment, employee relations, industrial relations, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and work health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment, including advertising, interviewing, screening, and selecting.
Onboarding, including induction, paperwork, and training.
Managing the employee lifecycle.
Performance management.
Handling complex industrial relations matters.
Interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements (EAs).
Managing the WHS system, including risk assessments, JSAs, and investigations.
Coordinating training and development programs.
Creating and updating company policies and procedures.
Providing HR advice to managers.
Leading HR projects from start to finish.

About You:
You are flexible, resilient, and innovative. A results-driven individual who thrives on diversity in their role while understanding the importance of completing repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a HR role.
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize workload.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
Keen attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to work autonomously.
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
Desirable Attributes:
Proven experience in a similar position.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively across various levels and disciplines.
Comprehensive knowledge of disciplinary procedures.
