The Client Active Transition Training Pty Ltd, trading as Melbourne Metropolitan College, is a Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) registered organisation that operates across Australia.
The Role The position for hire is a HR Advisor and will be for a full time basis at $80,000 per annum, and will be based at their Adelaide office.
The Responsibilities Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants, and selection of staffMaintaining personnel records and associated human resource information systemsProviding advice and information to management on workplace relations policies and procedures, staff performance, and disciplinary mattersArranging the induction of staff and providing information on conditions of service, salaries, and promotional opportunitiesReceiving and recording job vacancy information from employers such as details about job description, wages, and conditions of employmentProviding information on current job vacancies in the organisation to employers and job seekersUndertaking negotiations on terms and conditions of employment, and examining and resolving disputes and grievancesStudying and interpreting legislation, awards, collective agreements, and employment contracts, wage payment systems, and dispute settlement proceduresDeveloping, planning, and formulating enterprise agreements or collective contracts such as productivity-based wage adjustment procedures, workplace relations policies and programs, and procedures for their implementationOverseeing the formation and conduct of workplace consultative committees and employee participation initiativesCoordinating staff training and professional development programs to enhance skills and performanceImplementing and monitoring compliance with HR policies and proceduresConducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employeesAdvising on occupational health and safety standards and ensuring complianceThe Requirements At least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldAdvanced knowledge of employment laws and regulations in AustraliaProficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS) is desirableAt least 4 years' experience in the field of human resources in a corporate settingAt least 4 years' proficiency in using human resource information systems (HRIS) and maintaining personnel recordsAt least 4 years' experience with job advertising platforms and applicant tracking systems for recruitment processesAt least 4 years' expertise in interpreting and applying workplace relations legislation, awards, and employment contractsAt least 4 years' experience to conduct effective staff inductions and provide comprehensive information on employment conditions and opportunitiesSkills in negotiating terms and conditions of employment, and resolving disputes and grievancesAt least 4 years' experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and enterprise agreements in a corporate settingAbility to achieve results through consultation, negotiation, advice and facilitationDemonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous improvement with a key focus on business and its people #J-18808-Ljbffr
