13th August, 2024 Reporting to HR Business Partner, in the respective Directorate client group, the HR Advisor is responsible for providing a range of high quality, accurate and timely HR advice and HR operational support services to employees and managers to ensure the effective delivery of employee relations and processes, initiatives, projects, and reporting activities.
The HR Adviser plays a crucial role in supporting the HR Business Partner in maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures. This position serves as a point of contact for employees seeking guidance on HR-related matters and contributes to the overall success of the HR function for Centacare Services.
Key Accountabilities Provide advice and guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner Support the HR Business Partner in implementing HR initiatives and programs Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes for operational support positions Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation Conduct training sessions on HR policies and procedures as needed Assist in performance management processes, including performance appraisals and feedback sessions Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR practices align with organisational goals HR Metrics and Reporting Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Proven experience working in a human resources role, with a focus on employee relations Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and best practices Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications Why Work for us?This is a unique opportunity to work for a values-based organisation and develop your HR skills at one of the largest employers in Queensland.
