Your new roleWe're looking for Brisbane and Melbourne's best HR talent to join us until 31st July 2025!

The position can be based in either Stafford Brisbane or Scoresby Melbourne and can commence as soon as practical for the preferred candidate. This is a varied and interesting role where you will ensure ongoing seamless provision of recruitment and generalist HR service levels and initiatives whilst several of our existing team undertake a significant transformation project. You won't be alone though – You'll join our National HR team who will guide, coach and cheer you on all the way!

The day to dayDay-to-day, you will provide generalist HR advisory and will manage a small portfolio of open vacancies across multiple business units in our diverse organisation. You will partner with our people to provide generalist and recruitment advice leading to end people and culture activities including:

Employee experience and engagement initiativesRecruitment and onboardingEmployee relations and interpretationTalent management, coaching and developmentPerformance managementHR projects, reporting and analyticsYou Are:A values-based and customer-focused HR professionalAble to communicate professionally and provide timely, accurate adviceAble to quickly build trust-based relationships across our organisationA strong team player with a hands-on, can-do attitudeComfortable operating flexibly and autonomously at timesWell organised, with an attention to detail, and ability to manage competing prioritiesComputer literate, with skills in Microsoft office products and ideally HR systemsWorking at ALSOur people drive our success at ALS.We are a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
