The role:You'll provide guidance on HR matters, support employee relations, and help deliver key initiatives. With Avalon as your main base, you'll also work across multiple sites, engaging directly with our blue-collar workforce. Your every day:Development and delivery of project HR services that align with business needsSupport the development of HR strategies, focusing on continuous improvement in line with the company's retention and development plansPlan and lead key processes with the business that form part of the HR lifecycle such as employee onboarding and offboarding, remuneration and benefits reviews, performance management reviews, and talent managementProvide high-level advice, coaching, and support on a broad range of complex ER/IR issues and practices, offering solutions in line with the business's priorities and in accordance with relevant government policy, legislation, and industrial awardAct as a point of escalation and resolution for HR-related queries, issues, and requests from both internal and external stakeholdersWho are you?Relevant HR tertiary qualification or significant experience in a HR Advisory roleUnderstanding of Australian legislative framework, NES, Modern Awards, and EBAsDemonstrated success in delivering generalist HR support and advice at an intermediate levelWell-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skillsExperience working within the construction, manufacturing, or resources industries would be highly regardedA career with usSycle is an equal opportunity employer.
