What does the job look like? Linfox Intermodal is currently seeking a HR Advisor based in West Melbourne VIC. As part of this role, you will provide effective HR advisory support to one of Linfox's largest business units. In this role you will play a key role in delivering practical HR support to a wide range of stakeholders and you will be focused on building leadership capability, employee engagement and coaching for the Intermodal team. Key areas:
Provide first level of advisory support for employees and managers, including general advice on employment matters and managing the resolution of HR related queries including policy advice and interpretation Assist with the performance and development planning cycle (including coaching people leaders) to improve the quality of performance and development conversations and outcomes Investigation of employee grievances, complaints and disciplinary processes and recommend appropriate actions Analyse available people data & reports in order to make recommendations to address highlighted issues Interpret and provide advice on the applicable Agreements and Awards and in line with Fair Work and other compliance obligations Provide support to managers throughout the recruitment process Monitor compliance of HR related processes and documents Are you the one? Prior experience working as HR Advisor or HRBP within the Transport Industry Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and deal with sensitive information Impeccable organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and take initiative to meet deadlines Experience with Power BI & creating Dashboards, including the ability to analyse data Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Work, PPT Demonstrated ability to efficiently meet deadlines and achieve high standards, with limited direct supervision A degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Logistics or a relevant discipline At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
