Robert Walters is seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Advisor. This role offers the opportunity to be the first point of contact for stakeholders across five offices in Australia, with a focus on employee relations.
The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with senior HR Business Partners and Administrators, providing advice, support, and guidance to both permanent employees and our temporary workforce.

About Your Role

As a Human Resources Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment at Robert Walters. You will facilitate employee feedback mechanisms and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction. In your role, you will partner with stakeholders across our 5 Australian offices to provide advice & guidance on HR related matters and roll out initiatives on employee retention and engagement. You will also advise Recruitment Consultants on employment relations issues concerning our temporary workforce.

Your Responsibilities

Assist with HR related projects, providing necessary data and coordinating the project Update and create policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Act requirements Provide guidance and advice to employees and managers on any employee-related issues Promote good employee relations across the organisation Handle confidential HR matters with discretion and sensitivity Deliver HR-related communications such as policy changes, and organisational updates Act as a subject matter expert for all modern award queries

Who You Are The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Advisor position brings a wealth of experience in human resources administration. You possess a deep understanding of Australian employment legislation and the modern award framework. Your exceptional organisational skills enable you to effectively manage conflicting deadlines. You are resilient, adaptable to change, and capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Your highly developed oral and written communication skills make you an effective communicator.
HR qualified with a minimum of 2-3 year's experience in a human resources administrative role Good knowledge and understanding of Australian employment legislation and the modern award framework High level of organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise conflicting deadlines Natural ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels Resilient and adaptive to change Ability to coach, build capability and support managers at varying levels of seniority Highly developed oral and written communication skills
