About the role
The purpose of this role is to support the business units with a range of HR related services and to provide first level advice and support to managers and the executive team.
Reporting to the Head of HR Australia & NZ your responsibilities will include:
Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from partnering with hiring managers to posting job advertisements, conducting interviews, reference checks, and negotiating offers.
Ensuring a smooth candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
Taking ownership of our applicant tracking system (ATS) and lead employer branding efforts across ANZ.
Collaborating with the APAC Talent Acquisition team and contribute to regional recruitment projects.
Assisting the Payroll Manager with award interpretation, payroll queries, and providing backup support during busy periods or absences.
Supporting managers in creating a comprehensive onboarding framework to ensure a positive experience for new employees.
Providing advice on union issues and support the negotiation of enterprise bargaining agreements.
Guiding managers through disciplinary processes and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Managing international recruitment and ensure compliance with business sponsorship and visa processes.
Liaising with immigration providers to secure visas for sponsored employees.
Supporting the execution of employee engagement strategies, including recognition programs and regional implementation of global initiatives.
Assessing training needs, coordinate learning programs, and collaborate with our global Learning & Development team to foster employee growth.
Driving the digitalisation of HR practices to improve efficiency and enhance employee engagement.
Regular regional travel to gain on-the-field experience.

About you
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of HR experience, preferably in an agricultural or manufacturing environment.
You will have a strong understanding of Australian industrial relations legislation and the ability to interpret and apply relevant industrial awards.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, enabling you to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
Additionally, you should have experience delivering induction and training programs, as well as a demonstrated ability to research and execute projects aimed at improving HR systems, processes, and procedures.
A graduate qualification in Human Resources or a related field is required.
