About the Role This is a 12-month, fixed-term contract, starting in December 2024. We offer: A hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the workplace, 2 days from home).

In this parental leave cover position, you'll play a crucial role in supporting and developing engaged and capable employees who expertly connect with our partners, customers, and communities to deliver positive experiences. You will ultimately play a key role in supporting our people, Lagardère AWPL's most valuable asset.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Actively support performance management, remuneration reviews, and talent reviews, including communication, education, delivery, issue resolution, and follow-up.Work directly with managers and employees to provide quality HR advice, balancing business needs and HR requirements. You'll resolve queries, advise on HR procedures, manage performance, resolve disputes, and enhance inter-team collaboration.Assist in HR projects aimed at driving business improvements and operational excellence.Demonstrate understanding and application of Australian employment law and practices, including Awards (retail experience is a plus).What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you'll need:
