HR Administrator - Temporary Contract We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Administrator to join a dynamic government setting in Melbourne. This temporary role, approximately three months, will provide critical support while the organization plans a longer-term hiring approach.
Position Overview: Location: Melbourne CBD (hybrid model, minimum 3-4 days onsite) Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week Salary: Attractive hourly wage Start Date: Targeted for 11 November 2024 Key Responsibilities: Manage the HR and employment inboxes, addressing queries on leave entitlements, flexible work arrangements, and employee changes. Maintain accurate employee files in the online system, ensuring information is current and accessible. Update payroll systems, process new starters, terminations, and changes in hours. Support the recruitment process through Springboard by posting job ads and providing backend support. The Ideal Candidate Profile will include: 2-3 years experience in an HR or administrative role, ideally within state or local government. Strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive approach to handling queries, and a high degree of professionalism in written communication. Curiosity and an analytical mindset to understand the context of inquiries. Must have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and police check. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional to gain valuable government experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
