Hpe/Science/Maths Teacher - Year 9 Campus, Commencing 2025

The main responsibilities of the position include:
Provide opportunities for student engagement through a variety of learning experiences where students are encouraged and supported in achieving personal excellence.Provide students with a positive role model through their actions as a committed Catholic educator.Assist students with individual and group work in accordance with the work requirements outlined in the course of studies.Assist the Key Learning Leaders in reviewing, designing, and developing curriculum.Positively contribute to the St Bernard's College teaching team.Participate in extra-curricular programs.Perform other tasks as directed by the Key Learning Area Leaders and Deputy Principal.The successful applicant will have a teaching qualification with current VIT registration and demonstrate the following competencies:
Experience teaching HPE/Maths/Science at the Years 9 Campus.Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to the Catholic philosophy and ethos of education.Understanding of the pastoral care needs of boys in a Catholic secondary school.Experience within a Catholic educational organization is an advantage.The College promotes the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children and young people.
