A03 Housing OfficerTemporary ongoing contract, with extension options.QLD Government$48.90 + super per hourASAP StartInalaExciting opportunity to join this amazing, supportive team in a Housing Service Centre where you will provide a broad range of applicant, tenancy and property management services and advice to customers with complex needs. The RoleRespond to customers via the telephone and face to face, undertake customer interviews, make referrals to support service agencies, assess new social housing and private housing assistance applications from customers.Maintain accurate customer and property records using the Microsoft Suite and internal IT systems with a high level of accuracy.Manage tenancy arrangements, allocations, changes of tenancy and vacancies and liaise with other housing providers ensuring departmental compliance.Conduct home visits to properties and investigate and facilitate any tenancy disputes and complaints.Manage property maintenance and conduct property inspections.Manage and monitor rent and maintenance arrears, rent assessments, payment arrangements, refunds and collections.YouThe successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with strong empathy and have previously worked in a customer-facing role.
You will be able to demonstrate the following:
