Fortnightly salary: $4437.00 - $4738.00
Job duration: Up to 6 & 12 months with possible extension
Key Responsibilities Identify strategic linkages, develop and analyse policy options, and provide policy advice on complex policy issues. Analyse and synthesise complex information and prepare timely and well-researched submissions, briefs, and papers, including Cabinet submissions. Prepare timely and quality advice and correspondence on a range of policy initiatives, including policy papers, submissions, discussion papers, decisions, briefing papers, and budget submissions in relation to planning. Develop and maintain networks across Queensland Government, other jurisdictions, and with key industry stakeholders to facilitate consultation and negotiation to support the delivery of the department's strategic agenda. Consult and negotiate with other areas of the department, government departments, and stakeholders on policy initiatives involving the planning system. Contribute to fostering a positive and effective team environment and culture by participating in work area goal setting, service improvement, and other team/divisional activities and changes. Represent the department at forums, committees, and workshops as required. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
