We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to support the development of this new team.
You will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of this portfolio, based in our new Slacks Creek office.Supervise and support the team of Housing officers in this role.You will have strong networking skills and work collaboratively with our partner agencies to establish this new community.Lots of support available - you will report to the Manager of Tenancy and Property Services and work alongside our senior management team, who are there to support you at all times.You will be able to proactively identify what needs to be done and work independently to get things done, as well as the ability to work productively as part of a team.You will be part of an amazing team working across south-east Queensland supporting the most vulnerable in our communities. You will make a difference in their lives every day.We offer a competitive salary ($53.85 per hour) along with salary sacrifice options to increase your take-home pay and 5 weeks of annual leave.What you can bring to the team The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience with demonstrated service coordination responsibilities. Your proven leadership and management skills are crucial to deliver results, support the team/group business plans, meet objectives and financial targets.
You will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the housing needs and issues of people on low incomes, those discriminated against or with specific needs, or who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
To be suitable for the position, ideally you have:
Diploma in social housing or other equivalent community services qualification from a recognised tertiary institution, or equivalent relevant experience commensurate with the role requirements.Current driver's licence.Demonstrated ability to prepare business documents including management reports, briefing papers, and business cases.Demonstrated problem-solving skills in the analysis of financial and/or other performance data.Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Possess or willingness to obtain:
