Our Opportunity Work Location: Port Hedland - Must reside in Port Hedland or be willing to relocate.
Fortescue's Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster:   4 Days on, 3 Days Off – 10 hour shifts.
14 month fixed term contract.
The role involves providing professional communication and exceptional customer service across various platforms, supporting Pilbara residential employees with Fortescue's Employee Housing reimbursement software, and resolving tenant issues with real estate agents.
Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate data entry, report preparation, and documentation, conducting routine property inspections and condition reports, managing the lease process for Fortescue-owned properties, and overseeing maintenance requests.
The position also requires negotiating rent and lease renewals, managing end-of-lease and bond requirements, being available for afterhours emergency contact and travel, and adhering to Fortescue's health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities Provide professional communication and exceptional customer service across all platforms, including face-to-face and virtual meetings.
Support Pilbara residential employees with Fortescue's Employee Housing reimbursement software Resolve and contribute to effective management of tenant issues with real estate agents and for Fortescue provided accommodation.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry, report preparation, and documentation, including the use of Fortescue's work management, data storage and Property Management software.
Complete routine inspections, property condition reports and vacate condition reports as required for the Port Hedland portfolio.
Manage general administrative tasks, including filing, archiving, communication logs and providing high-level reports to Housing leadership.
Negotiate rent and lease renewals with real estate agents, manage end lease negotiations and bond requirements Support end to end lease process for all Fortescue-owned properties.
Oversee maintenance requests, ensuring timely action and completion.
Be available for afterhours emergency contact and flexible travel requirements as needed.
Adhere to Fortescue's Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, and actively participate in safety training and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience Strong understanding of property management principles, with experience in the real estate or property management industry Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
High level of time management and ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
Exceptional customer service skills and commitment to following policies and procedures.
Alignment with Fortescue's values and commitment to a diverse workplace.
Proven ability to work effectively in a small, flexible team environment.
Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of and commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
You will be willing and available to act in an afterhours emergency contact capacity (rostered across team) – Flexibility to travel as needed.
