Housing and Partnership Coordinator - J2SIJob No:SHM1083 Employment Status:Maximum Term Full Time No. of Vacancies:1 Closing Date: 13 Jan 2025 AEDT Your new roleThe Journey to Social Inclusion (J2SI) Evaluation and Learning Centre (ELC) was established to work with other service providers to enable them to provide services to alleviate and prevent homelessness.
As the full-time (role ending March 2028) Housing and Partnership Coordinator, you'll be focused on collaboration within the J2SI consortium. Working closely with Social and Community Housing Providers, you'll ensure a tailored, participant-centered approach that promotes long-term housing stability.
Overseeing housing plans to help participants access stable, long-term housing - work to a "best fit" approach!Leading meetings, building strong relationships, and negotiating agreements with housing providers and partners.Pairing participants with housing and support services that meet their individual needs.Using the Sustaining Tenancies Framework to guide procedures, training, and service delivery.Keeping track of housing offers, meeting targets, and preparing reports to show progress.Collaborating and coordinating closely with the ELC manager to develop projects.Essentials for successA degree in a relevant field, such as Community Development.Experience in building partnerships or engaging with stakeholders (experience in housing or homelessness is a bonus!).Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.Excellent organisation, time management, and record-keeping abilities.Confidence in presenting and speaking to groups.Ability to adapt to participants' needs effectively and include the voice of the participant while collaborating with different services.You can look forward toBecoming a part of an evidence-based program that is at the forefront of targeting chronic homelessness.Award: Social and Community Services Level 6 - $55.46 - $57.90 per hour (depending on qualification and experience).Salary packaging expenses like your rent, holiday accommodation, and dining out: up to $15,990 pre-tax.Generous leave entitlements including 17.5% leave loading, wellbeing leave, and gender affirmation leave.A supportive work environment: regular line manager direct supervision, Psychological First Aid, EAP.Access to the Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme.Working within a team-oriented culture that values collaboration, mutual support, and well-being.Come and work with us!Sacred Heart Mission is a community of dedicated people working together to end homelessness, deep disadvantage, and social exclusion.
