Birribee Housing, an Aboriginal Community Controlled housing provider wholly owned by the NSW Aboriginal Land Council, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team in Moree. As a Housing and Community Engagement Opportunities Specialist, you will be part of a community-driven organisation committed to providing safe, secure, and culturally appropriate housing for Aboriginal people. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Housing Team and developing strategies to improve housing outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Aboriginal cultural practices and a passion for community development. They will be able to work effectively with Aboriginal communities, stakeholders, and staff to achieve the organisation's goals. The role will involve developing and implementing programs to improve housing outcomes, providing support to tenants, and working closely with the Community Engagement Lead to develop and implement community engagement strategies.
