The Department's Property Directorate provides specialist asset, property and land management services related to all government office accommodation; government employee housing; and the extensive portfolio of assets owned by the Department.
The Opportunity The Housing Administrative Officer role is responsible for the provision of efficient, effective and comprehensive residential accounts payable and receivable and debt control service for a portfolio of residential accommodation provided for government employees working in regional locations in the state.
The role is responsible for the timely and accurate payment of accounts, invoicing of clients and collection of funds, courteous and prompt customer focused assistance in resolving all account and client payroll deduction enquiries and regular communication with the Housing Officers and Shared Services on the financial performance of the accounts payable and accounts receivable operational activities.
The role will deliver excellence in service delivery, contribute to strategic outcomes, contribute to economic development and job creation and promote a culture of "one government".

You will need to act with professionalism, upholding the department's values and public-sector ethics. Requirements Strong numerical skills and aptitude for accounts/financial concepts. Special Conditions The successful candidates will be required to provide a National Police Check (NPC) prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intrastate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
Remuneration ASO3 - $67,589 to $72,033 per annum
